Grampians Grape Escape is delighted and proud to announce Neoen Australia as the presenting partner for the annual festival in 2019.
As well as being Australia’s leading independent producer of exclusively renewable energy, a best practice owner and operator of solar and wind power plants and world leader in energy storage solutions, Neoen is dedicated to local development and community growth throughout Australia.
Neoen owns and operates the Bulgana Green Power Hub, which comprises a 194 MW wind farm with 56 wind turbines and a 20MW / 34 MWh lithium-ion battery. Located near the town of Stawell, Victoria, the facility will generate over 740,000 MWh of emission-free, clean, competitive electricity per annum upon completion.
Signing on to be a presenting partner of the annual Grape Escape festival will continue Neoen’s proud history of supporting the Grampians region as the festival enters its 28th year.
The company has a commitment to using the services of local industries to maximise the benefits to each region and bolster their economies.
Neoen Australia Managing Director Franck Woitiez said Neoen is a long-term investor in Australia, not only with its constant and clear development trajectory, but also with its significant investment into robust community engagement programs.
“Neoen is committed to local development and community growth in the Northern Grampians region, and more widely across our operations in Australia,” he said.
“We support where and whenever possible, social projects focused on environmental sustainability, strong connected communities, arts and culture amongst many others, which is why we are excited to be the presenting partner at the Grampians Grape Escape festival.”
The not-for-profit festival has evolved into an iconic event drawing over 8,000 people to the region over the weekend.
It is the longest running food and wine festival hosted in one venue in Australia. Neoen Australia’s support will only see the festival grow in grandeur in the future.
The Grampians Grape Escape Chairman of the Board and Mayor of the Northern Grampians Shire Council Kevin Erwin, said he was thrilled with the new partnership.
“The presenting partnership with Neoen is a festival first for Grampians Grape Escape,” he said.
“There has been plenty of hard work happening in the background over the last few years to take the festival to the next level; not only for the ticket holders but also in order to offer our partners and potential partners fantastic marketing and engagement opportunities for the long term sustainability of the festival.
“The team looks forward to working with Neoen on the event.”
