Sparkling Shiraz, Prosecco, Brut Cuvee or Sparkling Rose, whatever type of bubbles tickles your fancy, learn how to bring the fun to your next cocktail party with the sparkling specialists, Seppelts. With four cocktails being demonstrated, this masterclass will be a real cork popper to attend with your besties! 

THE CAMP COOK

Peter McKnight, Weber

11.30am – 12.00noon

Learn how to roast, bake and barbecue the Weber way with the camp cook from Weber AUS/NZ, Peter McKnight. Peter will talk us through the various Weber models, what accessories are needed for different cooking methods, and how to prepare and care for your Weber. He will also demonstrate some favourite recipes from the Weber cookbook and share tips for making camp cooking tasty and easy. 

GIN WITH A GRIN

Chris Pratt, Kilderkin Distillery

12.30pm – 1.00pm

Let’s talk about different styles of gin. Is there really a gin to suit everyone? Well, there are certainly plenty of choices. Kilderkin’s Distiller, Chris Pratt, will demonstrate and talk about how to select your gin, what to mix with it, and how to prepare and garnish it for the perfect drink.

TWO FRENCH FELLAS

Ivan Larcher, Long Paddock Cheese + Loïc Le Calvez, Wine Truth

1.30pm – 2.15pm (Demonstration Marquee)

Enjoy a presentation by French-Australian Cheesemaker Ivan Larcher from Long Paddock Cheese and French-Australian Winemaker Loic Le Calvez from Wine Truth in the demonstration marquee just before the Barrique Auction. Soak up the journey of three kinds of cheese perfectly paired with three local wines, including the Grampians Winemakers Barrique Shiraz.

While tasting the three cheeses and wines is a paid and pre-ticketed experience, anyone can attend the class and learn more about pairing wine and cheese.

BEHIND THE BARREL

Timboon Railway Shed Distillery

2.30pm – 3.30pm

Join Josh from the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery who will explain the process of making whiskey. Heath from ABecketts Creek Cooperage will then perform a barrel break down and josh will finish the masterclass with a little Port Expression tasting and a discount voucher to use at their stall. Perfect.

Western Victorian Wine Challenge Winners

A couple of friends, Noodles and Doof, wanted to make quality beer and approachable spirits too. Those crafty two! Hear how Noodledoof Brewing Co’s craft beers are influenced by the changing seasons allowing the team a constantly evolving tap list. Then enjoy a martini and negroni making demonstration using their premium spirits range.

FROM WINE INTO CHOCOLATE

Pep Atchison, Pomonal Estate + Kerrie Fry, Kerrie’s Kreations

11.30am – 12.00pm

Pomonal Estate is a winery, microbrewery and cider house that has become a popular haunt for locals and tourists alike. Patrons can choose from regional wines, handcrafted beers and ciders, and food options. But the Pomonal Estate and Kerrie’s Kreations wine and chocolate pairing board is what gets tongues talking. Learn why as Pep talks through the board while Kerrie demonstrates how she hand makes these unforgettable wine chocolates.

Tim Bone, Tim’s Toasties & MasterChef AU

1.30pm – 2.10pm

MasterChef Australia semi-finalist Tim Bone quickly became one of the show’s most popular contestants with his flair for food and down-to-earth personality, making it into the top four in Season 11, 2019. Tim went on to set up his own business, Tim’s Toasties, selling gourmet toasted sandwiches with an emphasis on using seasonal, local produce and high-quality sourdough bread. Admire his skills as he makes a Scallop Toastie with an apple, fennel sauce, crispy bacon, rocket and sharp cheddar.
