You are encouraged to visit Quartz Hill’s wine stand at this year’s Grampians Grape Escape, where Quartz Hill have a selection of locally grown wines available for you to try and enjoy.
Quartz Hill is a small vineyard and winery nestled in the Victorian Pyrenees wine region not far from Avoca in Central Victoria. Grape varieties cultivated include Shiraz, Viognier, Mencia, Touriga and Grenache. At a visit to our stand you will be able to try many of Quartz Hill’s wines made from these traditional and perhaps less common grape varieties.
We hope that you will appreciate Quartz Hill’s less mainstream yet more interesting alternate wines.
In the vineyard our grapes are grown using biodynamic principles and preparations then hand picked. In the winery our wines are made using low intervention methods – often using wild ferments, minimal pumping and filtration, so that you will experience the full aromas and flavours of these small batch wines.
Quartz Hill is a small-scale, eco-friendly, family run wine producer. We look forward to your visit (we’re at stand #75). Cheers!
