AT THE FESTIVAL

Am I expected to provide tastings?

As per previous years, wine, cider and beer tastings are to be provided to Tasting Ticket holders ONLY, who will be identifiable by wristband and festival tumbler.

Exhibitors who sell spirits are not obliged to offer tastings as part of the tasting ticket pass. General Admission ticket holders do not get free tastings but can purchase by the glass or bottle (as can all ticket holders).

How you manage your tastings / sales processes is up to you however please know there are no expectations of your top of the range bottles to be available for free tastings.

Although not a requirement, we also encourage food trucks to provide small samples, a strategy to help drive product sales.

Will you provide the Mother’s Day hearts?

Mother’s Day is the weekend after GGE, and what better place to shop than at GGE! If you have products suitable for Mother’s Day, ask event staff for a heart to display on your signage to help promote your gifts.

Will the Wine Store/Cloakroom be happening again?

Yes. GGE run a wine store / cloakroom so festival goers can cloak all of their purchases (including wine) for as long as the Monday morning, meaning they can keep their hands free for grazing and more shopping. Tasting Ticket holders have free access to this service, otherwise it is just $5 for General Admission. They can even cloak their jacket, camping chair and card table overnight with us!
