AT THE FESTIVAL

ATM Facilities

ATM facilities are available.

GGE Program

The program will be available so you can prepare for a Grape Escape and map out the masterclasses, demonstrations and activities you’d like to experience, which artists you want to hear, which wine you’d like to taste and more. You will receive one in your festival enviro bag, and the program will be available online a week before the event.

Lost Property

Any lost property handed in will be available to collect from the Festival Information Marquee until 11am on Monday.

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is the weekend after GGE, and what better place to shop than at GGE!  Look for the red heart for Mother’s Day gift ideas and packs. Sorted!  #cheerstomum #cheerstofun

Smoking

We want to smell the delights of food, wine and produce, so GGE is again a smoke-free event. Pass-outs are available for the designated smoking/vaping area.

Parents’ Room/Family Facilities

Mums and dads can take advantage of the parents’ pods fitted with a baby change table, comfortable feeding chair and mini kitchenette. They are air-conditioned and heated, along with being lockable for privacy. You will find these next to the David O Jones Mitre 10 Little Adventurer’s Precinct. For those minor cuts and bruises, we also have first aid onsite

Can I bring my dog/pet?

Whilst we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave your pooch or any animals at home. There are special considerations only for certified assistance/service animals. Assistance animals are not pets or companion dogs.

Accredited assistance animals include:

  • Guide Dogs and Seeing Eye Dogs
  • Lions Hearing Dogs
  • Autism Assistance Dogs
  • Service Dogs – for those with a physical disability or post-traumatic stress disorder

Assistance animals must be wearing a harness, identification lead or a vest/coat identifying them as working animals. In addition, the owners must carry a photographic identity badge or card as proof of accredited status, which they must show our gate staff. While therapy dogs may be assistance dogs in some situations, the certification required to be an assistance animal means the animal has been trained and accredited, having met the state standards for public access rights.

Gate staff will request to see the proper accreditation upon entry. Without this there will be no access for your animal.

Can I bring in food/water?

Naah, sorry. We’d love you to buy brunch, lunch and something to munch at GGE so our favourite food trucks come back next year. You can bring an empty drink bottle. We are a single-use plastic free event. And drinking water is available onsite. Bags may be checked by security upon arrival as we are a No BYO event, so no sneakies ya hear?!

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

While some festival seating is available, patrons are encouraged to bring their table (nothing bigger than a card table); folding chair and picnic blanket. Patrons cannot bring a tent, market umbrella or marquee to the festival. GGE is also a No BYO event.

What To Wear

As much as we’ve tried to get her to join the GGE crew, we have no command over Mother Nature. We celebrate rain, hail or shine, so layer up, party shoes and all, as life is to be enjoyed in all kinds of weather!

Will there be Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options?

Yup. Many of our exhibitors offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. There will also be a zero% drinks supplier. Should you have more specific dietary requirements and have concerns, please contact hello@grampiansgrapeescape.com.au.

Wine Store/Cloakroom

Keep your hands free for grazing and store your festival purchases at our Wine Store. Tasting Ticket holders have free access to this service, otherwise it is just $5. Best of all, purchases can be kept stored until Monday morning (don’t worry, we won’t drink them).

You can even Cloak your jacket, camping chair and card table overnight with us! So handy.
